This policy explains how Flag Sonar LLC ("we," "us," or "Flag Sonar") collects, uses, and protects your information. Flag Sonar is a scanning tool designed for individual use; users may only scan for information on themselves.

Overview
- Self-Scan Only: You may only scan your own accounts. One verified account per person.
- Data Collection: We collect necessary account information (name, email), verification results from Stripe, added social handles, and optional self provided context.
- Identity & Biometrics: Identity verification is performed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your government ID or biometric/selfie data. We only store the verification result and a reference ID.
- Optional Context: Any optional demographic information provided is used solely to help assess potential reputation risks; it is never used to judge the acceptability of your content.
- Data Retention: We keep your data while your account is active and delete it upon account closure or your request.
What We Collect
- Account Information: Full name and email address. Email verification is required.
- Identity Verification Result: We use Stripe Identity to confirm you are a real person. Stripe processes your government ID and selfie. Flag Sonar only stores the confirmation status (verified/not verified) and a verification reference ID. Stripe's processing of your data is governed by Stripe's privacy terms.
- Handles & Content: Social media handles you authorize for scanning, including public posts, captions, comments, and mentions. We do not access private accounts.
- Optional Context: You may provide optional background information to refine our risk assessment. This is entirely voluntary, and you may delete it at any time.
- Payment Information: Processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
- Usage Data: Standard technical logs and device information for security purposes.
Data Processing & Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We utilize service providers (Stripe, Supabase, AWS, Apify, Anthropic) who process data strictly to facilitate the service.
Your Choices and Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of your personal data.
- Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data.
- Correction: Ask us to rectify inaccurate information.
- Context Control: Manage or delete any optional self provided context.
